Joud Industries - Domestic Appliances Company is a pioneer household appliances manufacturer in Syria and a subsidiary of Joud Co, a multiple business activities group established in 1933. The mother company Joud Co. is concerned with many activities of both industrial and commercial types.
Some of the international brands manufactured and/or distributed by Joud Company include Pepsi, 7UP, Proctor & Gamble, Bel Cheese, Hoover. Candy and Vestel.
Joud Domestic Appliances (JDA) was established in 1994 starting with the assembly of domestic refrigerators and freezers, then it expanded to manufacturing cookers and other domestic appliances. Currently, JDA is one of the leading manufacturers of white goods in Syria thanks to its compliance with high quality standards and to its commitment to distinguished after-sale services.
JDA was the first company in Syria to conform to the Montreal Protocol on Substances That deplete the Ozone Layer by making all its refrigerators and freezers environment-friendly and CFC-Free. Additionally, JDA was one the pioneers in Syria to get the ISO-9001:2000 Quality Management System. Furthermore, all JDA products conform with the CE directives.
The products which we assemble are designed in Italy as well as they are made of parts and materials which are mostly of Italian-origin. The assembly process is conducted locally by skilled workers using Italian machinery and moulds under strict supervision of qualified experts who ascertain that specified standards are adhered to.
